It was a very nice hotel, excellent value for money. Very nice old building with quaint atmosphere. Very helpful and friendly staff. The breakfast is average but the restaurant that offers lunch and dinner is outstanding. I would definitely recommend a stay at the hotel and to try the resaurant during your stay. Good location not only to explore La Orotava but also the wider area including the Teide National Park.
Very nice hotel - beautiful old building renovated in traditional canarian style. Exquisite restaurant with an incredible cook.
Restaurant very good. Internet available in the rrom
International TV channels not avialable, e.g. BBC.
As the weather was very cold it was helpful to have a sitting room with our bedroom. a pleasure to have a bath.. Dinner was excellent.
Our bedroom was cold, but weather was most unusual for March apparently. Breakfast food was ok but not special.
staff, position, quiet and beautiful place, restaurant.Parking ,in this season, is easy at 5 min. from Hotel.
the room was excellent. lovely old window seat, good furniture, wifi in the room, quiet for an old building. lovely courtyard in the traditional style for the dining and bar area
we had a good dinner which was overpriced. breakfast was not good. first morning the heating oven was plugged out and all the food cold, next morning hardly any food . it looked very understaffed. tables uncleared and water cold.
We loved the rural feel of the hotel. We enjoyed the food as it was more traditional. It was an excellent base from which to explore this area.
I would have appreciated the facility to make a hot drink in the room.
This small and friendly hotel in La Orotava is a great base from which to explore the beautiful mountains and beaches in the north of Tenerife. The friendliness and efficiency of the hotel staff, particularly Miguel aswell as the excellent cuisine created by the hotel's chef, Richard made our stay a real treat.
The Hotel Victoria was what we had hoped, i.e. a typically Spanish small hotel with very friendly and helpful staff.
Parking was extremely difficult.
the staff were super. 1 of us lost our Iphone & she helped translate the fax we needed to send to the airport. The patio off our room was super & allowed the 4 of us to catch up over our own drinks & snacks in a lovely environment.
Its central position, excellent service, food, comfort, and the total ambience was amazing. Wonderful stay.
It is a very chaming hotel - the Canarian Architeture style and orotava is the place to see when on Tenerife
Small renovations have to be done in that hotel - but that is minor
They annouce 'Free public parking is possible at a location nearby' and the fact is that you can leave your car in the street if you find any place to do.
The hotel is settled in a old charming house of the historical center of La Orotava, which is perhaps one of the best place to acces rapidly to the main scenic landscapes of Tenerife. The Hotel staff is very kind and has answered to any of our questions. We greatly appreciated one of the rooms on the roof of the hotel, where a terrace allows to enjoy the great view on La Orotava, its vineyards, the sea and of course the Teide.
We went in La Orotava in february and the city lacked of life on the evening. There is no so much restaurant except the one of the Hotel, fortunately very good.
We stayed in the hotel 3 years ago and were very happy so we came back again. Very pleasant hotel, great food in the restaurant, helpful staff.
Parking is a problem anywhere in La Orotava. There is not much that hotel could do about it as this is an old town with mainly narrow streets.
